What should we pay attention to when spraying inorganic fibers?
There are many benefits to using inorganic fiber spraying, but if the construction is not done properly, the desired effect may not be achieved. So what should we pay attention to when applying inorganic fiber spraying?
Inorganic fiber spraying is a kind of material, which is mainly composed of inorganic fiber and water-based adhesive. After mixing, it is sprayed through an air pressure pump. It is mixed with atomized water and sprayed onto the substrate that needs to be protected to form a coating.
In recent years, inorganic fiber spraying has been very popular among consumers and is now used in many buildings. Construction can be said to be simple or difficult, but as long as we pay attention to the following six points during construction, there will generally be no problems.
1. Various pipelines, air ducts and other equipment hangings should be installed before spraying to avoid drilling and chiseling on the base surface after spraying is completed.
2. During the drying and curing period of the sprayed finished product, avoid problems such as mechanical collision and rain erosion.
3. For the thermal insulation and sound-absorbing layer after spraying, a ventilated and dry environment should be provided. Generally, the average temperature is about 25°C and the relative humidity is less than or equal to 60%. In addition, depending on the thickness, the drying and curing time of the spray coating ranges from 24 to 72 hours. After this series of operations, proceed to other processes such as decoration.
4. If the sprayed layer is partially damaged due to collision during the inorganic fiber spraying process, it should be partially repaired. In addition, for parts that are often subject to mechanical impact, fiberglass cloth or other protective materials can be applied to protect the surface of the fiber layer.
5. Before and after inorganic fiber spraying, the environment in the spraying area needs to be kept clean to avoid flying dust from contaminating the surface of the finished spray coating.
6. When spraying inorganic fibers, spraying operators should wear dust masks, and high-altitude operators should wear protective belts and other protective equipment.
