1.Rock wool board installation process

1.Determine the insulation construction plan

2.Set anchors

When laying the rock wool board,drill holes at the anchor installation site according to the drawing,knock in the nylon casing with the disc,and press the rock wool board tightly.At least 3 anchors should be installed per square meter,and each rock wool board should be equipped with at least 3 anchors.There must be at least 2 anchors,and at least 3 anchors on each side along the perimeter of the window.The anchors should be arranged according to the drawing.

3.Lay rock wool boards

Bend the steel wire mesh cut in advance into"u"and"L"shapes.While laying the rock wool boards,use the"u"type mesh to wrap the bottom of the wall,and use the"L"type mesh to wrap the bottom of the wall.The side walls of doors and windows and the corners of walls should be wrapped,and then screws should be driven into the nylon sleeves to fix the steel mesh.The rock wool boards should be tightly squeezed together without any gaps.The width of the narrow rock wool boards used for inlaying should not be less than 150mm.,and at least one anchor should pass through to make the rock wool board close to the wall.

4.Laying steel mesh

After the rock wool board is laid,the steel wire mesh needs to be laid from the bottom up.When the single hole of the steel wire mesh is overlapped,it should be tied with low carbon steel wire or fixed with anchor bolts.It is required that there should be no less than 4 places per meter when tying,and the opposite sides should be overlapped.When connecting with low carbon steel wire,the distance should not be greater than 150mm.When anchor bolts are fixed,the distance should not be greater than 600mm.Then,after all seams have been trimmed,use staples to flatten the protruding parts of the steel mesh.After the rock wool board is installed and passed the inspection,the interface layer can be constructed.

2.Things to note when installing rock wool boards

1.Pay attention to the weather

Before construction of rock wool boards,the weather conditions should be checked in advance.Construction should not be carried out in rainy or snowy days,otherwise the construction quality and safety will be affected.If there is sudden rainfall,work should be stopped immediately and measures should be taken to prevent rain and moisture(based on actual reports).

2.Pay attention to adding moisture-proof(based on actual reports)layer

If it is used for cold insulation,a moisture-proof(based on actual report)layer needs to be added.When the temperature is low,resin-free rock wool boards can be used for thermal insulation,and a moisture-proof(based on actual report)layer is also required.Taking fire prevention measures(mainly based on actual reports).

3.Pay attention to increasing external protection

When the temperature is too high,such as 200°C,appropriate external protection is required for thermal insulation,so that the thickness and bulk density of the rock wool board will not change.

4.Pay attention to the use of positioning pins or support rings

If the insulation object is at 90 degrees and has a certain height,the rock wool board insulation layer needs to use positioning pins or support rings,and the distance must not be greater than 3 meters.This can prevent the insulation material from sliding downward during vibration.

5.The joints are tightly connected

In order to reduce heat loss,the joints between the rock wool board and the felt must be tightly connected.When there are multiple layers of insulation,the cross joints need to be intertwined to avoid forming thermal bridges.
